The assumptions behind the math (tap to change)
% a year
% a year
% a year

Goals within 3 years are assumed to sit in safe funds earning ~6.5%; goals 3-7 years away in balanced funds at ~9%; only 7+ year goals get the full long-term rate. Education costs rise at 10%/yr, cars at 4%/yr, you can change any goal's rate on its card. Salary growth powers the "start smaller, step up yearly" option.

How we calculate

Prices rise every year, so a goal that costs ₹30 lakh today will cost more by the time you get there. We account for that. We also count the growth on the savings you've assigned, and on every month's investment. Then simple honesty: add up what all goals need per month, compare it with what you have left after spending. Your numbers never leave this page, they're saved in your browser only.
